From April 14, 2021 to the end of May, there will be anti-terrorist exercises in the Kharkiv region.

The training will take place until the end of May throughout the Kharkiv region with a focus on border areas.

The exercises will be attended by units of the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, the National Police, the State Border Service of Ukraine, the Military Law Enforcement Service, the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office and other members of the Coordination Group of the Anti-Terrorist Center. Local governments are informed about the planned activities and they provide full assistance to law enforcement agencies.

The exercises will be held in conditions as close to real ones as possible, including with the use of military firearms, military equipment and radio equipment.

Within the framework of the exercises, it is envisaged to carry out restrictive measures in certain territories, the possibility of checking citizens’ documents, and leaving motor vehicles. Therefore, the SBU asks citizens to have identity documents with them.

The Security Service of Ukraine guarantees that training will be held in strict accordance with the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine and with unconditional respect for human rights and freedoms.

Along the way, the SBU calls on citizens to be vigilant.
