Professor of the DOED Department took part in an international conference

Recognition of the scientific activity of the DOED Department at the international level was noted once again with the participation of prof. IN AND. Chumakov in the international conference “COVID-19 Drug and Diagnostic Developments” and a report on the topic “Evaluation of the effectiveness of UV sterilization”, in which it was proposed to use ultra-powerful (3.6 MW) ultraviolet radiation pulses with a duration of 30 μs for sterilizing premises for various purposes, very relevant in our time. Pulsed ultraviolet radiation sources based on plasma accelerators can generate bactericidal radiation power sufficient for 100% sterilization of one or more pulsed exposures.
