Teachers and students of the DOED department participated in the webinar international company Phoenix Contact, entitled “New Products 2020 Industrial electronics” where are the manufacturer of new items, such as overvoltage monitoring device and equipment protection, power supplies, timers, energy management devices. Phoenix Contact is a leader in connectivity, electronics, and automation towards a smart world. 

Phoenix Contact is used wherever processes must run automatically. This can be industrial enterprises, the renewable energy industry, infrastructure or the connection of complex devices, where the combination or separation of power and data transmission, or management, is required. 

The DOED department has been cooperating with Phoenix Contact for a long time: it holds master classes with the participation of company specialists and organizes student internships. 

Since 2010, the Phoenix Contact CEO company’s EduNet laboratory has been functioning, which is Pavlо Galkin, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Designing And Operating Electronic Devices. The international university network EduNet is designed to exchange knowledge between participating universities and Phoenix Contact. Its goal is the joint work of laboratories and the simplification of exchange programs between teachers and students.
