In the evening of September 25, 2020, at about 8.45 pm, an An-26Sh plane crash from the Ivan Kozhedub Air Force Training Aviation Brigade (Chuguiv) occurred during scheduled flights during the approach.
A terrible tragedy took the lives of 25 people – cadets of the Kharkiv University of the Air Force of the Kozhedub Armed Forces and crew members. 2 wounded in serious condition were taken to medical facilities.
