On September 30, the Constituent Assembly of the Public Organization “Kharkiv Cluster” Engineering – Automation – Mechanical Engineering “(IAM cluster) was held.

Senior lecturer of the Department of DOED KNURE P. Galkin together with the dean of the faculty of ACT prof. Filipenko A.I., head of the department of MTS prof. Svid I.V., professor of the department of CITAM  Novoselov S.P. took part in the Constituent Assembly as representatives of NURE.

“European Annual EduNet Conference 2020 – online” will be held on October 13-14, 2020 in online formats.

The annual conference for the EduNet higher education network offers members the opportunity to exchange ideas about automation technology in an academic environment, to present applications, and share their experiences with other EduNet members.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed Decree № 410/2020 declaring a day of mourning in Ukraine on September 26.

“Due to the tragedy that occurred as a result of the crash of the An-26 military aircraft during scheduled training flights on September 25, 2020 near the city of Chuhuiv, Kharkiv region and led to the death of servicemen of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to honor the memory I decide: to declare September 26, 2020 a day of mourning in Ukraine,” the document reads.

The staff of the DOED NURE department expresses its condolences to all those who lost their relatives and friends as a result of the plane crash near Chuguev.

In the evening of September 25, 2020, at about 8.45 pm, an An-26Sh plane crash from the Ivan Kozhedub Air Force Training Aviation Brigade (Chuguiv) occurred during scheduled flights during the approach.

     September 24, 2020 at the Department of Design and Operation of Electronic Devices of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics together with Phoenix Contact LLC and PHOENIX CONTACT GmbH & Co.  KG opened a laboratory of “Embedded Control Systems”

   PLCnext from Phoenix Contact appeared in NURE.
    PLCnext Controlare are the first PLC based on the open automation platform PLCnext Technology.  They allow to implement automation projects without the traditional limitations of proprietary systems.

    PLCnext Technology allows to run parallel programming based on common software tools such as Visual Studio, Eclipse, Matlab Simulink, and PLCnext Engineer, as well as arbitrarily choose the relationship of the source code they create.  In this way, the functions of the IEC 61131-3 standard can be combined with C/C++, C# or Matlab® Simulink® systems and combined into a common system.

   The creation of such a powerful laboratory became possible thanks to the fruitful cooperation of the DOED staff with Phoenix Contact within the framework of the international educational network EduNet.

    “Creating a laboratory of “Embedded Control Systems” based on PLCnext will allow the DOED Department to move to a qualitatively new level of teaching and implement the concepts of Industry 4.0. In the laboratory,” – said senior lecturer of the DOED Department Pavlo Galkin.

    At the opening of the laboratory, the Dean of the ACT  Faculty Filipenko Olexander Ivanovich stressed the importance of opening software and hardware laboratories in terms of implementing the concept of Industrial Internet of Things.

Due to the complication of the epidemic situation in Ukraine, KNURE will host an online dedication for students of NURE 2020.

Due to the complication of the epidemic situation in the region, in accordance with the order of the rector of KNURE was canceled, the general meeting of students of the first faculties was canceled (bachelor’s) year.

 Instead, will be organized  group curator meetings -student on a class schedule.

On September 16, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted the amendments initiated by the Ministry of Health to the decree on the establishment of quarantine and the introduction of enhanced anti-epidemic measures. This was announced by Minister of Health Maxim Stepanov at a briefing following a government meeting.

“These changes were developed and submitted for approval by the government after a meeting with the mayors of the cities, which took place the other day. It was in synergy with the regions that a common position was found regarding the introduction of quarantine measures,” said the head of the Ministry of Health.
